Per oltre 100 anni il Centro di riabilitazione per adulti dell’Esercito della Salvezza a Houston ha fornito assistenza spirituale, sociale ed emotiva a uomini e donne che hanno perso la capacità di far fronte ai loro problemi e provvedere a se stessi. I centri offrono alloggi residenziali, lavoro e terapia di gruppo e individuale, il tutto in un ambiente pulito e sano. La cura fisica e spirituale che i partecipanti al programma ricevono li prepara a rientrare nella società e tornare a un lavoro retribuito. Molti di coloro che sono stati riabilitati si riuniscono con le loro famiglie e riprendono una vita normale.
