Welcome to my eBay Store Tentrees123. My name is Venessa and I am a small home based business in rural South Australia. It is my great privilege to be the Australian Customer Care representative for Tagliamonte & authorized Seller of the unique Venetian glass intaglios & cameos. Tagliamonte can be considered the only firm in the world that manufactures this kind of stone. Its exclusivity is not limited to the production in itself, but includes the masterful use of a "classical" iconographic repertory. Vitreous pastes moulded into cameos or intaglios, the style can be traced back as far as the Mesopotamians, and further developed by craftsmen from the ancient Roman colony of Aquileia. Mr. Nino Tagliamonte, with two Venetian artists, dedicated five years of research to this project using authentic 18th century plaster matrix carvings and successfully experimented with original Roman blending, processing and casting methods.
