I wanted brown, so I messaged to clarify, and they responded quickly to confirm that they were brown. Unfortunately I neglected to clarify the finish. I wanted matte black, but when they arrived, they were shiny black. There was only one photo in the listing, which was a stock photo that looked matte black. If there had been an actual photo, or a more thorough description, I wouldn’t have purchased these. C’est la vie.
