Once I got in touch, however, the service improved significantly — the goods were shipped the next day via express delivery. The items arrived exactly as advertised: brand new, well packaged, and at a great price. Overall, a rocky start but a solid finish.

This CPU was listed as brand new, but it arrived used, in very very very poor packaging (the CPU was loose between two bits of foam). They have ignored all contact for days, so the situation is only getting sorted with eBay's help. This is the worst experience I have had on eBay to date. The least I would have expected was a sorry, but the seller seems to want to SCAM everyone with misleading listings. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Item described as new but arrived loose in Jiffy bag between two pieces of foam, not great. Postage cost high for size of item and doesn’t offer combined postage with RAM I bought so works out expensive. Ignored questions regarding shipping, in fact ignored EVERY MESSAGE I SENT. Dispatched without paying attention to shipping notes causing hassle. Very short returns - convinced he didn’t ship the RAM so I couldn’t test the CPU. EBay case needed.
