    I specialize in older and often out-of-print stitchery supplies. Offerings include: Books, supplies and kits for Cross stitch, Counted thread work, Needlepoint, hand embroidery, and beadwork. Most either come from one of my stores (The Stitchin Tree, Wheatland Mercantile or Triple Arrow Stitchery, all closed now) Some are consignment items, and items I find at estate sale/garage sales in the area. I carefully verify all kits and replace threads or fabric if needed.
    I do not sell anything that is mildewed, water damaged, or has any off odors!
    Many items are vintage and often come from store closeouts and Estate Sales.
    I also list a small variety of antique and collectable items that are not stitch related.
    Always free shipping and prompt service.

    I have been in Seattle for a few so am slow in getting this out. I'm very impressed with the excellent service I received from stitchingchicken. There was s little mix-up in shipping but that was soon resolved and the shipping went without flaws. Packing was outstanding, and all the yard was as described and expected. The crewel floss was a very good value. Overall I'm very, very happy with the service I received from stitchingchicken. A very good store.

    Top notch service! I had an urgent need to make something for my grandfather’s celebration of life. I received everything I ordered within 3 days. I ended up ordering two sets and they were able to catch the first package and ship together. They were packaged well and I will be able to complete the project on time for all to see some of his accomplishments. Exactly as described and well worth every penny.     Fast shipping. Well packaged in a padded mailer. Two beautiful pieces of fabric for cross stitching at an excellent price and the free shipping was a nice bonus. I'm venturing a bit out of my comfort zone in trying to stitch on linen vice Aida and these fabrics will be a great way to test the waters. I have made several purchases from this excellent seller and felt confident that the items would be just as described--and they were. Thanks.

    My package arrived in record time as usual from this shop. I was so excited to find this pattern at such a great price. I have purchased from this shop before and everything has always been better than described.
