Christmas period wasn't kind on this one. Seller was very communicative which I appreciate a lot. Many thanks!

The IC was packaged correctly in appropriate anti-static bags and then sent in a padded envelope. Condition was excellent. I soldered the new chip in place and the equipment now works just like it used to. Good job. No issues with this seller.
