The item was brand new, but did not work correctly. He was willing to work with me on a return, but since the item is discontinued by the original maker I was willing to keep it since it was only one function of the controller that was not working, but is still better then the OEM controller that I had. Many issues with this brand, but gave it one more try. Not the sellers fault.
