I haven’t tried to record with it yet but as a mixer it sounds good. One thing I did notice was the monitor out wasn’t near as bright as the headphones out. Maybe it’s supposed to be that way, don’t know but I think I’m really going to like this mixer. I may have more feedback later after I’ve used it for a while. I am 70 year old guitar player and singer all my life. I played for a living around the country when I was younger a d my dad was a great steel guitar player
