My name is Phil Lynes,
I am now retired, and one of my hobbies is painting and drawing so you could say I am a self taught leisure artist, also I have over many years collected postage stamps and covers.
A while ago I was almost a stage in my life where I was blind, but due to emergency operations by my local hospital they have saved my eyesight, allowing me to continue to do what I love, which is to paint.
As a thank you I put on an art exhibition which raised £5400 for the hospital eye clinic.
Hopefully i can continue to sell my paintings, as well as my stamp collections on Ebay to help yet more.
