eBay asks you if you contacted the seller before leaving negative feedback to notify the seller of any issues and give them an opportunity to fix the issues .Buyer not only didn't contacted me about any issues with the Lotus tubers but when I contacted them to resolve them they ignored me. I will keep contacting them and hopefully they will allow me the chance to fix the issue . The Black is the protective sleeve that the growth tips (eyes) are inside. Ordered 2 different lotus varieties. Received one very healthy with viable eyes. The other was black rotting at the eyes one is growing leaves the other nothing bought from them in past got vacusealed tubers that looked black like the bad one. Won't buy from them again

If the buyer had contacted me I would have help teach them about the anatomy of a Lotus tuber and they would have know the black "eyes" is the protective sleeve the growth tips are inside while dormant. I personally inspect each tuber before shipping it to make sure they are viable .. I have no control over if the come out of dormancy . That is why you have a 30 day money back or replacement .. But you MUST ALWAYS contact the seller to let them know about any issues with your orders.
