Chi siamo

I grew up in a rural place where I had lots of time to read. The shelves of the local library were magical to me. In my twenties, I worked at brick & mortar bookstores on both the east and west coasts of the United States while teaching and earning a graduate degree in literature.

In 2024, I founded Owl in the Attic Books with the simple goal of selling good books.

For me, good books are the ones that bring people pleasure. This is a broad category (and I like it that way).

I take pride in taking care of books as objects. The books I sell are in excellent used condition (except for occasional rare titles in acceptable condition). I package all my orders with care (boxes not bubble mailers) and hope that when your order arrives, you feel something like the magic of choosing a book off the shelf at your favorite store.

    I was so pleased with this transaction. The seller responded quickly to my inquiries and shipped the item promptly. The attention to packaging was evident and the book was shipped securely in a sturdy box and was wrapped with bubble wrap inside the box. I highly recommend this seller! A++

    This seller treated my purchase SO well. My books were wrapped in brown paper, then bubble wrap, then totally surrounded by crumpled paper to protect it ALL in the final box. Thank you very much!! I’m pleased with my purchase, and will be gifting them to some family members. It’s also wonderful to find an EBAY seller who actually takes pictures of the books you may be shopping for. I’m “over” buying books from sellers who only post stock photos. Disappointed MANY times, but this seller is A++!
