  As described, nice Civil War cover from Union officer writing home, posting his letter at the Union controlled Martinsburg, (W)VA post office. Written during Union retreat northward following defeat by Stonewall Jackson's troops in the 1862 Shenandoah Valley, VA campaign. Great value to me since I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley. Packaged securely and shipped quickly. I rate this vendor with five stars!
