When her son Mike was deployed in Afghanistan Marian helped the families of other deployed soldiers volunteering for the family readiness program. Like other mothers her son came home with the scars of war. Substance abuse followed over many years. Mikes untimely death from detoxing in 6/24 was the motivation of this business.

    So pleased with this adorable Lenox birthstone trinket box. My October granddaughter will be delighted to receive this small treasure box. Exactly what I was expecting based on the seller's written description and the photos attached to the listing. The flower on the lid with the birthstone adds a nice decorative element and a safe method for lifting the lid of the box. The box was carefully and safely packed for shipping and the box arrived with all parts intact. A very nice purchase.
