Marsh Mellow Meadows is a family owned farm where we make several different craft items. I am the fiber artist. I learned to crochet from my mom around 8 years old, but didn't learn to spin until the early 1990. We bought our farm Marsh Mellow Meadows and raise Marsh Romney sheep. I do all the washing and dying of our wool, keeping each fleece separate and labeled by the sheep's name. The washed and dyed wool is set to mill to be processed into roving or undyed yarn. I sell the undyed yarn in several different shades of color from dark gray, fawn, and cream. I also hand dye the mill spun yarn in many different combinations of color.
My husband is the woodworker and makes several different fiber arts tools. (set gages for yarn, weaving sticks, spinning wheel hooks, boxes, ect)
My son is the metal forger and leatherworker. He makes wallets, weapon sheaths, belts, wrist bands and other wearable items.
His wife has a vinyl press and makes baby items and T-shirts.
