Viaggiamo per il Paese alla ricerca di oggetti unici, antiquariato, stranezze, oggetti vintage, primitivi e curiosità. La scorsa estate, mio figlio di 8 anni è andato con me in tutto il Midwest e oltre. Abbiamo visitato alcuni siti fantastici come l'Arco di St. Louis durante i nostri viaggi e siamo tornati a casa con un sacco di oggetti incredibili. Ora, mio figlio è agganciato e ha un grande occhio per gli oggetti che cerchiamo. Dai famosi libri e dipinti firmati da Thomas Hart Benton a una mappa della metropolitana di New York in masonita (da Coney Island a Manhattan) che si è rivelata un vero tesoro, alle esche da pesca vintage e super rare di South Bend situate a South Bend, Indiana e a una pressa di sidro unica dalle colline del Kentucky. Carte sportive rare del Kansas e una cavalcatura di capra a 2 teste dell'Arkansas meridionale. Un paio di scarpe indossate da Stevie Ray Vaughn del Tennessee e la chitarra firmata Joe Walsh di Chicago. Ci divertiamo!
