    I have searched for the perfect chess set for my hubby. I knew it needed to have Civil War character pieces. So many that I saw did not have female pieces as the Queens and people complained about that. This set met all my requirements. The entire set was made in Florence, Italy. The chess board is leather with beautiful black & gold squares. The chess pieces are hand painted. It is perfect. I have looked for a long time and am so glad I didn’t “settle”. The seller was great & fast with delivery

    One of the corners of the chessboard has a ding on it as the corner is not square now. The pieces are superlative and were as described by the seller. Very pleasant experience. Would not hesitate to buy again from this seller.

    Very professional seller, I live in Saudi Arabia and that is far from the item originally, and I got it so fast with in 10 days all tho the estimated delivery time was a month and few days, I’m impressed with the item quality, really mind blowing for who ever come my house.
