  These are pads, like they say in the listing. I was planning to make a large custom box but, these come without any protection from water or minor damage, bending. It's not their fault as they are to be used as pads -just be aware of the mistake that I made. If you need box material, this won't really be optimal. Shipping was fine and customer service was very responsive. Good people, I just wasn't paying attention.

  tube arrived with the rod in it, but the packing was still bad. I pick up the tube and there was still only clear tape on one end and the rod came out on to the ground. It should have been surrounded by packing paper and both end should have been filled with cardboard and taped with nylon fiber tape. I use to do shipping and receiving for the government.
