    How fortunate we are to get this highly detailed 1861 half dollar--and from the New Orleans mint! We heartily recommend this seller who made it possible for us to build our ancestors' birth year collection. Because there was a tiny hole drilled in the coin that did not mar the date and details, we were able to buy this beauty, exactly as pictured, for a reasonable price. Not only that, but the coin was packed securely and shipped trouble-free. Thank you!
