Customer service claimed the harness wasn't included, but the description clearly listed it, including the model number of the harness. It took several chats, emails, and phone calls, but eventually we worked out a deal that I could live with. The listing still has not been fixed, so if you're looking for a hitch for a Chevy Sonic, make sure to confirm with them ahead of time.

One of the components of the kit was defective, not their fault. I reached out to them, provided the info needed, they promptly shipped me a replacement part. Picture: "dash module" - was defective, it should rotate and spring back smoothly. Check it before installing
