The seller then stated it did in fact come with real coals. He said i could either have a refund or new parts which would arrive in 3 -5 days I opted for new parts. I'm still waiting 7 days later. Early days but so far so good with the performance of the fire. Bought to replace a redundant gas fire which was removed as unused. Electric fire bought mainly for effect.
