  Delivery took three weeks; shipping could hardly be called expeditious. A Nikon Nikormat FTN took three days to arrive at the same shipping charge and packed more carefully, well protected from the hazards in transit. On the other hand, this lens was wrapped in one turn of bubble wrap, encircled with one layer of thin cardboard and shipped in an unpadded plastic envelope. It might have been sufficient protection against impact but not against vibration from being tossed and dropped.
