  I would rate this auction purchase as good over all. I got the item for a great price, and it was carefully packaged and quickly shipped. There was a fairly substantial unstated bit of damage that was not mentioned in the description but did show up in closer examination of the picture. The item still displays well, and may be "glueable" since all of the pieces were in the package.

  The locomotive runs like a champ - smooth and quietly. The seller took great care in packaging it securely and safely. The switcher is a beautiful engine, and I am so pleased to have purchased it. The seller was quiet cordial and amenable to work with and that makes all the difference in the world when conducting transactions online. The diesel itself was in great shape, and I notice no flaws or imperfections.
