    Only someone with a special understanding of the arts—and quality—would understand the sentiment of passing down (rather than tossing out) something that has seen many years of use. (Everyone these days like ‘the shiny new car’….). This particular item is so fundamentally sound that with a small investment, it will be identical to new, and comparable to what costs the better part of many times more.
