When I was 16, this photograph on the left was my idea of utopia. An RD350LC & a good looking girl (I know the photo shows a 250). I had a Honda SS50 at 16, closely followed by a Kawasaki KH250 on L-plates at 17. I eventually bought a Yamaha RD250DX & passed my test on it. This was closely followed by my first RD350LC & a couple of years making constant visits to Magistrates Courts & A&E departments.The RD350LC, coupled with my teenage stupidity got me a 6-month driving ban (aged 18) & lots of fines & scars..... BUT... What fantastic memories my mates & I have of those days. The same bunch of lads are still enjoying motorcycling now, in our late 50s. Over the years, some mates have sadly passed on.My shop is born out of trying to source parts for restorations. I've ended up buying complete job-lots of old stock from dealers. I'm an enthusiast, not an expert. I describe things as honestly as possible & hope you enjoy browsing my shop. - Thanks, Lee.
