    The box was badly smashed and ripped when I received the package. I was worried the case had been damaged. Fortunately the case was wrapped in fabric and in a mailing envelope inside the card board box. No bubble wrap. No mention in the description that the hinges were loose.

    Item as pictured, packaged securely but suggestion to the Seller: don't use something to wrap the item that weighs more than the item purchased. In this case, a metal eyeglasses case! Shipping for this item was way more than it should have been
