Fondata nel 1985, Atlantis Gems Inc., un importante produttore di gioielli, gestiva un negozio al dettaglio nel principale quartiere commerciale (16th Street Mall) del centro di Denver, Colorado. L'azienda è specializzata in gioielli personalizzati in oro e argento, pietre preziose colorate non montate (principalmente smeraldo e zaffiro Yogo), diamanti, orologi da polso e da tasca vintage, oggetti da collezione storici ed esemplari e fossili minerali esotici. Atlantis gestiva anche due miniere di smeraldo e un impianto di taglio di gemme all'interno del Brasile. Da allora l'azienda ha chiuso il suo punto vendita e ora vende esclusivamente su EBAY. Con costi generali sostanzialmente inferiori, l'azienda offre ai clienti prodotti eccezionali con un notevole risparmio.
