  It’s pretty rare to find sellers of this caliber on eBay nowadays. I reached out to request an exception to their shipping policy. The seller took the time to quote the cost when he easily could have said no. The item was in pristine condition considering its age. Precisely as described and fits our space incredibly well.   Speaking as a sci-fi aficionado, this is the most awesome lamp I think I've ever seen! The seller was nothing short of fantastic, communicating promptly and calling my attention to a small mend in the lamp base, making sure that I'd noted it and was ok with it. Shipping was fast, and the lamp was well-padded and securely packed; there was no shifting of the lamp within the box, and it arrived in perfect condition.
