Product Information
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider -- The Prophecy moves away from the side-scrolling of Lara Croft's previous handheld adventures, instead presenting her tomb-raiding exploits from an isometric viewpoint. Having managed to translate passages from the Tome of Ezechiel, Lara learns of three magical stones (the so-called Black, Red, and White Stones) and their sinister keepers, the brotherhood of Teg-du-Bhorez. As is in the console titles, Lara must make her way through sprawling, exotic locales -- from villas to ancient temples -- all the while making use of her considerable athletic prowess to avoid traps and enemy assaults. She'll have to make running leaps across gaping chasms, avoid flame geysers and crumbling platforms, and cling precariously to ledges. All in a day's work for the game's heroine.

Exploring the The Prophecy's three environments (spanning 28 levels), players will activate switches, deactivate traps, acquire items, and solve puzzles reminiscent of past adventures in order to continue onwards. Punctuating the more cerebral exploits are running battles with magic-wielding heretics, skeletons, wild animals, and other such hindrances that Lara must dispatch using her trademark twin pistols. Eventually she'll be able to wield an Uzi and even a special golden gun. While engaged in combat, Lara automatically trains her pistols on the enemy, allowing players to perform rolls and flips to keep out of harm's way. Tomb Raider: The Prophecy makes use of a password-based save system to record progress.Product Identifiers
