Players travel from a Caribbean island to the streets of Berlin in an attempt to uncover a centuries-old mystery and solve a kidnapping in Hidden Objects: Mystery Stories. There are more than 1,100 items spread throughout 40 distinct locations, and more than 180 puzzles and mini-games help to break up the gameplay. Hidden Objects also makes use of a variety of different search modes, such as a sound-based mode and a mode lit by torchlight, while those looking for a relaxed experience can revisit locations at their leisure in "Free Play" mode.
