Pearl was terrific, but this is still my favorite Ti West film. Taking place in the 1980s, the film was shot on 16 mm film, giving it a retro-stylistic look that matched the vibe of film, and also a range of cinematographic techniques common to horror films of that era.

Sam (Donahue) is a pretty college sophomore, so desperate to earn some cash for a deposit on an apartment that she accepts a babysitting job even after she finds out there is no baby.
