The Plynlimon and Hafan tramway was once used to exploit the mineral resources of the Leri Valley, but closed after barely two years when the minerals in the lead mines and the stone quarries ran out. This book shows how despite its short existence, this obscure narrow gauge railway had already attracted a passenger service and made its mark on Welsh railway history. Following on from the 1976 edition, this book looks at how some of the wagons continue to survive in service on the Vale of Rheidol Railway, with scale drawings of the locomotives and rolling stock included.
