The Level 2 cache of this AMD TL-50 processor is a 16-way associative exclusive cache with two 256 KB capacity, reducing data access time for this OEM/Tray microprocessor and its integrated system. The AMD 64 technology used to build this AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6 GHz processor means that users can leverage two sub-modes of the unit’s long mode to either exclusively execute 64-bit applications or to run 32-bit and 16-bit applications while still maintaining a 64-bit operating system. This AMD TL-50 processor also features AMD’s Deeper Sleep state and PowerNow! technology, significantly reducing core voltage and resulting power consumption.
