This is a fully rebuilt Lucas 22700N C40 12v generator dated August 1968. It came off a 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider to get rebuilt and replaced with a more original unit. I have seen these on many other European vehicles without the tach drive and on many British cars. It is an improvement with 5 more amps than the C39 along with a better rear cooling bulkhead. Tested and ready to install on your Triumph Spitfire, Triumph TR3, MG Midget, MGB, MGA or whatever ya got.
