Add an all-rounder to your audio setup with the AKG C1000 S condenser wireless professional microphone. This versatile and compact microphone includes a number of features that allow it to adapt to different recording requirements quickly. Like all condenser mics, the C1000 S needs phantom power to operate. However, if phantom power is not available, pop in two AA batteries, and they will power the unit for up to 120 hours, allowing direct connections to mixers and recording equipment. While a number of microphones incorporate presence boost, this one has three different frequency settings. Choose to boost vocal clarity, cut out rumble and wind noises, or increase the microphone level to record loud sound sources without distortion. Lastly, the C1000 S includes a polar pattern converter. Slip it on the capsule to change the pickup pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid for even more unidirectional focus, which is ideal when using monitors on stage.
