Need for Speed: Carbon is ready to take you to the heart of underground racing. Set in a fictional east coast city, you begin by picking your crew and deciding which of the 25 customizable cars you want to make your own. Selecting your crew is important because each member has a special skill that can help you make it to the finish line first. To set your crew apart, you may select colors, logos, and graffiti to adorn your outfits and paintjobs with.<br><br>The gang rivalry is fierce and the stakes are at an all-time high. As you begin winning such races as sprints, lap knockouts, and other events, you earn territory within the city. Start losing races, and the property is given back to the rival crew. Multiplayer action is available through a wireless connection, and friends can challenge each other to four player circuit races. The dashboard located on the lower DS screen can be altered to your specifications by selecting and moving instruments with the stylus.
