This is a genuine Nintendo Game Boy cartridge of the popular fighting game Mortal Kombat from 1993. The game features martial arts and karate as sub-genres in which players can choose from a variety of characters to fight against each other. The game is rated E for everyone and is part of the Mortal Kombat series. The cartridge’s pins were cleaned and are in perfectly working condition. This unit is an authentic OEM product from Acclaim Entertainment Inc. and is NTSC-U/C (US/Canada) region coded. It comes as a single unit without a case or manual and was manufactured in Japan. It has some minor scuffs and scratches and staining/discoloration on the shell. Good label. Very good condition overall. As shown in photos. See All Photos.

Mortal Kombat makes the surprising leap from arcade to Game Boy with six characters and two-player support via Game Link Cable. Use each fighter's signature moves in one-on-one matches held within the ominous Shaolin Tournament. The controls have been adjusted to account for the system's two-button configuration, and many of the finishing moves and backgrounds from the arcade game have been edited or removed entirely.
