Designed for touring musicians and audiovisual integration techs, the Radial JDI Duplex is a high-functioning stereo passive Direct Input, or DI, machine. The unit is designed for high-output sources. The Duplex offers quarter-inch connectors and can be used for -10 decibels consumer electronics. It is also used with XLR inputs for plus-4 decibels pro-level line sources. Thanks to the Jensen transformer made famous in the standard Radial JDI direct box, each channel has a warm tone virtually free of distortion. This unit employs a pair of these Jensen products and offers the same pristine audio signal path. It offers a fantastic signal path that has almost no distortion. A smooth curve combined with the Jensen's saturation makes the Duplex a great choice for tricky instruments with dynamic exports, such as digital keyboards.
