This card reader works well, especially for older formats like SmartMedia cards, which I bought it for originally. The only downside is that it cannot reader larger SD cards, I believe above 4gb, as there is no firmware for this device to do so to my knowledge. This is the only reason I am getting rid of this, otherwise it is a nice card reader.
