The Sony DAV-TZ140 home cinema system with 5.1 channels giving 300-watt output surround sound is a complete DVD home cinema system that upscales old DVDs to give improved images of near-1080p HD quality, even on old TV sets. This Sony 5.1-channel DVD home cinema system is comprised of a full-range, bass-reflex, one-way surround central speaker with 5.5 cm woofer unit, a 13 cm bass-reflex subwoofer, two front right/left channel speakers and two rear right/left channel speakers, and the main DVD player and AV receiver unit. Audio digital decoders Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro logic, and DTS decoders ensure support for numerous audio formats besides providing support for several video and image formats. Analogue audio output, composite video output, and HDMI connections are available on the rear panel of the Sony DAV-TZ140 home cinema system, while one USB connection is available on the front panel.
