The Sony SS-TS500 are a set of five compact main/stereo speakers which can be mounted on the wall, placed on stands, or displayed on tables, shelves, or any other flat surface. These Sony home theater speakers are designed to be placed around the room in order to give listeners in spaces of all sizes the ability to enjoy rich, vibrant sound when playing music or movies. The cloth grille cover on the outside of the Sony SS-TS500 prevents damage to the sensitive parts of these main/stereo speakers and provides protection against dust, dirt, and pet dander. Inside, one will find a 2.87-inch paper cone midrange with foam surrounds as well as a 0.625-balanced dome tweeter. In addition, connection to a receiver is simple thanks to the spring clip terminals of these Sony home theater speakers.
