Pokemon HeartGold for Nintendo DS game brings some of the play into the real world with the included Pokewalker, a Pokeball-shaped pedometer. The Pokewalker in the Pokemon game encourages children to exercise by creating a link between the pedometer and the game card, allowing players to transfer a Pokemon into the pedometer in order to gain experience as the children walk.
