The sequel to Namco's Air Combat (originally titled Ace Combat in the arcades), Ace Combat 2 features 30 missions that have players dogfighting computer-controlled enemy aircraft, detonating a power plant's core, flying through city streets, and escorting VIPs to safety. Following successful missions pilots can purchase new aircraft, each one with unique strengths and weaknesses.
