Kalman was a Hungarian Jew who happened to be Hitler’s favorite composer of operettas. Nonetheless he fled Europe. De Sylvawas a lyricist for composers from Victor Herbert to Kern to Vincent Youmans. He was the primary lyricist for George Gershwin from 11919–1925

It’s most interesting because it even pre-dates his time here in Pittsburgh! It’s just as described, and in great shape for 98 years of age. The price was reasonable, and the packaging very secure.
