It came with the original box which was packed inside of another box for protection and shipping so no problem there. The packaging could have been a little better. The styrofoam by itself left gaps with no protection from possible punctures to the box. A few layers of bubble wrap and/or crushed newspaper/packing paper would have been good. The radio appears to be fine, but it's worth considering in the future.
