Still wrapped as it would have been in the factory prior to being put in the box. Clearly this meets the bar for "new" even though the box had more than the average amount of shelf wear (visible in the pics of the original post as well.) It arrived relatively quickly, especially when you consider recent problems with the USPS regional facility near the shipping origin. Would buy from this seller again.

Cost of shipping was combined with a similar item, and seller issued a refund to reflect the combined shipping, which made the cost fair in today's world. Great value for the model, a combination of a reasonable starting price and no other real bidders. ART ran most of the reefers on the D&RGW; this will be interchange with my On3 railroad.
