Take a step into a dystopian futuristic city in the 1991 game "Shadow of the Ninja" for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It takes place in a version of the United States where the country is taken over by an evil emperor named Garuda. This action fighting game puts the player in the role of a ninja on a mission to fight Garuda and his minions. There are one- and two-player modes available, and in each mode, players get to choose whether they want to play as a purple or orange ninja. For players who like trying out a variety of different armaments, this game offers them the chance to use many well-known ninja weapons, including katanas and throwing stars.
