It was essentially loose in the box. The graphics card arrived with a bent I/O panel, a bent heat sink mount in the back, and a slightly bent PCB. I had to disassemble the back of the card to repair it before I could even put it in my PC. Luckily, it seems to have survived the trip. 3DMark benchmarks and stress tests show it working normally in spite of it's packaging.
