Product Information
Every child dreams of what they'll become when they grow up, and Disney's 'The Kid' tells the story of one kid actually having that very surreal experience. Grown-up Russ Duritz isn't nearly as fun or happy as younger Rusty would like him to be. Enjoy the VHS of this unique family film from director Jon Turteltaub that uses humor and heart to tell the tale of a man that literally comes face to face with his former self and has to begin to face why he's become so cynical and closed-off. Seeing the person he was as a child does something to Russ and makes him question the man he has become. With a touch of fantasy, the film is still incredibly grounded and relatable. It features strong performances from Bruce Willis and Spencer Breslin, as well as co-stars Lily Tomlin, Emily Mortimer, and Jean Smart.
