You have shown exactly how they fit. They can not really be any longer as they would be outside of the body area of the scooter and you will find that you will be hitting objects and people will be knocking your mirrors in crowded areas. You are the first person, as my feedback shows, that has had this problem. Perhaps you have not adjusted the mirror housing to its optimum angle. But thank you so much for your purchase anyway. They responded and were most helpful in advising me on the most suitable fixings for my scooter. Their representative worked until late that evening checking details with me before coming up with a solution. She then processed a credit for my original order together with an order for a different pair and fixings.
