Trimming is needed to prevent severe rubbing on the shell. Great feel though when playing, feels almost like the original. Not a bad replacement, just wish it had better fitting, and had been cleaned up more before packing and shipping.

It was incredibly frustrating, but after this they stayed in place. NOT worth the price I paid for a single pair
